What Hole in the Wall did for ME...

I was proud to help support the camp, and I was proud of taking on the Boston Marathon. I just never suspected that it would get into my blood and my psyche the way that it did.

I did Boston because I thought if I was only going to do one marathon, why not make it the biggest, baddest, most famous marathon of all? But it took months of training in nasty weather, where I had to keep saying to myself:

"Keep going! Don't stop! Don't quit! Just keep running"

As it turns out, long after I crossed that finish line, that little motivational speaker in the back of my brain wouldn't shut up. So, Suzanna and I will doing our second half marathon together later this weekend (pictures to follow). I'll be doing my next full marathon in Vermont in May...just for fun! I'm hoping to take on my first little triathlon this summer. So Hole in the Wall not only changes the lives of its campers, but it turned me into and endurance athlete!

I'll keep you posted, you keep checking in, and keep those donations coming!

THANKS EVERYBODY!

What Hole in the Wall does for kids...

The Boston Marathon was a life changing event for me. The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a life changing place for kids battling disease. Bringing these two things together is greatest win-win situation ever.

I'll explain a bit about how a marathon changed my life in another post, but I'll let Paul Newman explain why the camp is so incredible (get your kleenex ready). Watch this video about Hole in the Wall.
